Mere months after releasing a debut EP, Rude Rum are ready to give you more with their latest single "Curious Affection", which is available now on all platforms.

November 27, 2019 macburnersa digital 0 Comments at Bedlam Records by Brock Weston (Young Lions, Bugs) and mastered by Kevin Metcalfe of Soundmasters London (David Bowie, QueenWhite StripesPaul McCartneySex Pistols), "Curious Affection" was crafted to be a dance floor anthem.
An almost rolling surf groove sits in the background of a recording that is sultry rock n roll rebellion at  heart. "Curious Affection" is a song that was born for radios and road-trips... Fresh, original, and very addictive.
"We feel this is our best work yet... It's funky, groovy, has that rock attitude and bound to put a cheeky grin on your face... It captures what we're all about"
The Brisbane Groove Rock power trio burst onto the scene with a new line-up in April 2019, followed swiftly by a successful underground launch of their debut EP.
For lovers of  "Tired Lion", "Catfish and The Bottlemen", "Gang of Youths", "Black Keys" and "Royal Blood", their memorable sound and showmanship makes impressions on any audience, and has lead to a rapid ascent within the local scene.
Jaeden Ogston (Singer/Guitarist), India Raine (Bassist) and Van Willis Louis (drummer) simply click together performance wise as a trio that can hold it's own against much larger bands, and quite visibly show that they're having the time of their life.
With no rest for the wicked, Rude Rum's "Curious Affection" is to be followed by a debut tour of the majority of East Coast Australia with major shows planned for SydneyMelbourne and Brisbane.
"We're ready to give it all we've got"
